Practice: Charlie Carter focuses on the representation of emerging growth companies. His practice emphasizes venture capital and angel financings, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, public offerings and general corporate counseling. Charlie’s practice covers all stages of a company’s lifecycle, from the start-up phase through liquidity and beyond. Charlie was named a “Rising Star” in 2003 and 2004 and a “Super Lawyer” in 2005 through 2007 in the Washington Law & Politics survey of lawyers in the State of Washington. He is a regular speaker on venture financings and mergers and acquisitions. He joined Summit Law Group in 2001 and currently serves as the firm’s chief financial officer.
