Jamie Evans concentrates his practice on corporate and securities law and has
experience with a wide range of corporate finance transactions.
Experience: Jamie has experience with initial and follow-on public offerings, private debt and equity placements, mergers and acquisitions and related securities law issues and has also advised both public and private companies on a wide range of general corporate compliance and governance issues.
Education:
Trinity College (B.A. 1997, Philosophy); University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law (J.D. 2002).
Prior Experience: Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP (2002-2006); Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati P.C. (2006-2007).

- Represented Sea-Port Controls, Inc. in the sale of all of its outstanding stock to Valin Corporation in June 2007
- Represented Cequint, Inc. in the private placement of Series B Preferred Stock in May 2007
- Represented Intelligent Results, Inc. in its sale to First Data Corporation in March 2007
- Represented SeaTab Software, Inc. in the private placement of Series AA Preferred Stock in December 2006
- Represented Biomira Inc. in a registered direct offering in December 2006
- Represented Verigy Ltd. in its initial public offering and separation from Agilent Technologies, Inc. in June 2006
- Represented the underwriters in public offering of convertible notes by SanDisk Corporation in May 2006
- Represented the underwriter in public offering of the class A common stock of Google, Inc. in March 2006
- Represented Seagate Technology and a selling shareholder in a secondary public offering of Seagate’s common shares in January 2006
