Memberships: Richard joined the Puget Sound Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators in August 2004. He currently serves as the Chapter’s Photographer and Social Media Manager. He recently rolled off of a two year term as the Director of Communications.

Richard has also joined QLaw (GLBT Bar Association of Washington) as a non-lawyer member of this minority bar association. In May 2009 Richard was elected by the QLaw members as the first non-lawyer to sit on the QLaw Board of Directors for a two year term, serving his first year as Vice President and Communications co-chair, and currently, in his second year, serving as Elections chair.

Blogging: Richard blogs about legal administration, writing “The Legal Hokey-Pokey”. Beyond his legal admin blog, Richard is an avid Twitterer under his handle @RL_Wood.
