FFCRA Effective Date Set As April 1, 2020
U.S. Department of Labor has announced that the FFCRA will take effect on April 1, 2020 . Based on the wording of the statute, it was widely understood that the law would become effective 15 days following enactment, which is April 2. However, in light of the DOL guidance, employers should be ready for implementation a day earlier, on April 1.
