Overview

Dulcemaria is a Gonzaga University School of Law student who is eager to expand her knowledge of different legal fields while at Summit. 

Dulcemaria attended the University of Washington and is currently attending Gonzaga University's School of Law. She chose a career in law after witnessing the meaningful impact legal advocacy has on people’s lives, which sparked her desire to contribute to the work. Dulcemaria enjoys spending her free time with her two new cats, Chaos and Sab.

    • Hands-on fieldwork working directly with asylum-seekers and migrants in various locations. 
    • Engaged in pre-departure classes, learned from experienced lawyers leading trauma-informed and cross-cultural assets, and gained a better understanding of U.S. asylum law and policy.
  • Volunteer, Street Law, Inc. 
    • Provide high school students with information pertaining to their legal rights and the law. 
  • Literary Volunteer
    • Partner with a local elementary school to help first-graders with their reading and writing skills.
