Profile Introduction

Ali has represented a number of technology companies with a broad range of legal needs, including transactions focusing on in-bound and out-bound data and software licenses, payment processing, services agreements, mobile applications, content licensing, and many other business development activities. She also has specialized experience in ad network agreements and other ad platform relationships. Ali began her legal career at Cairncross & Hempelmann in 2006, where she worked on content and software licensing, services, and other commercial agreements for clients in the software, e-commerce, travel, and mobile industries. Ali also served as Corporate Counsel at Amazon, where she focused on mobile applications, advertising and marketing matters, and data licensing and technology arrangements.


Ali is a national champion in track cycling, and also enjoys sport driving, hiking, baking and camping with her family.

  • Represented large publisher in procurement of ad management platform that interfaced with multiple third party systems such as Google’s DoubleClick for Publishers.

  • Developed forms for onboarding business customers for an online SaaS startup company.
