Profile Introduction

Alice provides her clients effective advice on legal and business matters, shaped by her experience as a former in-house attorney from two thriving, national companies.  Alice knows that her clients need legal services that are practical, quick, concise and digestible and she develops long-term partnerships with her clients. Her deep understanding of the inner workings of company processes uniquely positions her to provide guidance that respects and adapts to her clients’ internal procedures and timelines. Alice’s practice covers real estate throughout the U.S. and Canada. Alice handled all real estate matters for her internal clients, including:

  • Management and negotiation of a large volume of leases and related agreements for new retail locations of multiple sized store formats (anchor, junior anchor, inline) in shopping centers, power centers, mixed use centers, office buildings, and other urban layouts;
  • Acquisition and disposition of retail, office, industrial, and undeveloped/vacant real property;
  • Structuring multi-party rights and obligations through one-sided easements, complex reciprocal easement agreements, or homeowner covenants, conditions and restrictions;
  • Administration of existing real estate holdings (retail, office, as well as industrial), including negotiation of amendments, extensions, subleases, early terminations, SNDAs, and resolution of contract disputes.

Outside of the office, Alice chauffeurs her son to his various activities and has forgotten whether she has any hobbies, but enjoys the occasional escape room or consignment shopping/bonding with her friends.
