Profile Introduction

Jessica represents private and public companies, developers, government entities and institutional investors in a broad range of real estate matters, with an emphasis on commercial leasing, acquisition, disposition and complex development transactions. She delivers practical, business-minded solutions that foster commercial success.

Jessica represents a broad range of clients, with a particular focus on large regional, national and international businesses for which real estate is a primary and necessary asset. She routinely advises major retailers, technology companies, professional services firms, co-working space companies and other entities at every step of a transaction.

She has particular experience handling large, time-sensitive development deals with many moving parts. Jessica works closely with in-house teams to shepherd such deals from due diligence to completion, tracking every aspect of the transaction in order to identify and resolve potential deal blockers, as well as drafting and negotiating all key contracts. She also advises major banks with portfolios and operations in multiple states, providing guidance on leasing, acquisition, disposition and other real estate portfolio management issues, and negotiating of subordination, nondisturbance and attornment agreements.

Jessica relocated to Washington from Australia more than a decade ago, an experience that further strengthened her adaptability and talent for handling pressure with ease — both of which are valuable attributes in the rapidly evolving real estate markets in which her clients operate.

Jessica currently serves as the Real Estate Practice Group leader.
