Profile Introduction

Peggy is an experienced technology transactions attorney and has extensive experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and advising clients on a wide variety of technology and commercial agreements, including software development and licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements, supplier agreements, independent contractor, consulting and other professional services agreements, and marketing and distribution agreements.  Peggy also provides ongoing legal support for in-house legal departments in the areas of product development and distribution, procurement of products and services, and development of form agreements and procedures to help clients drive efficiencies and ensure legal compliance. 

 

Previously Peggy served as in-house counsel at Microsoft Corporation, working closely with business executives and clients on a broad range of legal, policy, and business issues, including antitrust, advertising, privacy, ethics and policy compliance, copyright, trademark, social media, anti-piracy, competitive intelligence, open source software, and procurement issues. She has substantial experience partnering with stakeholders across business and legal groups and driving collaboration by identifying synergies and aligning strategies among various stakeholders. 

 

In her spare time, Peggy enjoys cooking, jogging, and scenic hikes to waterfalls. She is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
