Describe your experience at Summit in one word.

"Eye-opening."

What surprised you most about working at Summit?

"The culture and the people. Everyone, including attorneys and staff, was genuinely kind and willing to help. I never felt afraid to ask questions or worried about receiving constructive feedback because everything was delivered respectfully and with a clear desire to help me grow. Summit has truly raised the bar for what I’ll look for in a future workplace."

What advice would you have given yourself at the beginning of your internship with Summit?

"Be comfortable with taking the initiative. Reach out to attorneys, ask if they are free for coffee, and express interest in any shadowing opportunities. Make it clear that you are curious and eager to learn. Everyone is open and willing to connect, especially if you make the first move!"

How will your time at Summit inform and shape your career trajectory?

"Summit introduced me to an area of law I had not previously considered: real estate. I really enjoyed working with Angela and Ada and found the work incredibly engaging.  As a result, I plan to take courses in real estate law and contract drafting in law school to explore this path further."
