Washington Supreme Court to Decide if Lawmakers Have Privilege to Withhold Public Records 

The Washington Supreme Court has accepted review of a case challenging Washington Legislators’ assertion of the constitutional legislative privilege to protect internal deliberations. The Thurston County Superior Court and Division II of the Court of Appeals agreed with the Legislature, recognizing this ancient privilege in Washington’s Constitution.
