Overview
Christian is a native-Floridian that found his way to the Pacific Northwest by way of Australia and Canada. He possesses a law degree from Florida State University and has previously worked as an associate attorney in Florida.
As an established part of Summit’s Real Estate Practice, Christian has successfully helped clients complete complex real estate matters from start to finish. He’s assisted in title reviews and document drafting, including throughout the closing process, and he’s assisted homeowners in transferring rental properties into LLCs for asset protection planning. More recently, Christian has begun work on litigation-related matters, including a dispute over the purchase of distressed assets, an alleged breach of a services agreement, and negotiations to resolve an allegedly breached lease agreement.
Christian graduated in the top 20% of his law school and received book awards in Dutch Constitutional Law (while studying in the Netherlands) and Construction Law. Prior to joining Summit, Christian practiced Construction Law in Florida, where he supported a firm partner in litigation related to lien foreclosures, breach of contract, and design flaws. Further, he assisted with the recording of notices to the owner and construction liens, and with negotiations related to their release. Christian has also worked from Australia and in a Canadian law firm while supporting his wife’s employment around the world. Currently, Christian is seeking admission to the Washington State Bar Association.
When not working, Christian can be found spending time with his wife and son, running, playing golf, and cheering for the Mariners.
